Poor customer service

Bought a Whirlpool washing machine on December 22, 2022 , delivered December 27,2022 and stopped working February 2023. Unable to speak with anyone - on line wait for over an hour. Wrote an email to CEO no response. Paid $1500 for a lemon from Whirlpool and zero service from Bradly and Martineau !!!

I have been trying to talk to a higher up for 3 years. We have been doing service for over 20 years here. And 3 years ago we got the worst service ever. No one can even respond to us. Im glad to hear you like losing great customer's. Its sad when companys do not care anymore. A simple return call back would be superior. Its called respect. Your losing more than us as customers. I have many friends who i tell about your service! And working in retail service myself word travels fast! Thanks for your disrespect! And lack of assistance!

A dishwasher was delivered damaged and instead of replacing it with a new one, they made me wait for a technician to decide whether this dishwasher can be replaced or not. Total disaster, we are extremely unhappy, wont shop at B&;;;;M anymore, poor customer service, lack of efficiency. and I am still waiting to get answers from them.

we purchase a dishwasher and from scratch it never work. When we called Brault &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Martineau the next day they said it was not their problem to call the Manufacturer to deal with them. One we called they sent a technician that confirmed the unit was defective and that we needed to wait 10 business day for them to complete a report so we could get it replace. it been two weeks now a still nobody called back. we tried to call, email Brault & Martineau multiple time and nobody returns our calls... At this point we want to get reimburse et buy another somewhere else Worst experience ever!!

I have reserved 6 chairs and gave a deposit of 100$. After 3 weeks Ive decided not to purchase the chairs because I found better quality and price elsewhere. When I returned back to ask the salesperson if I could get my deposit back as I want to cancel the reservation, he was soo annoyed and told me that here we are not a bank that you could reserve and cancel as you want. Well, I said am sorry I'll come back to shop around later for other furniture, but the sales person said no need to come back and went away. WHAT KIND OF SALES PERSON ARE YOU THEN??? MR TONYYYYY

My sectional is less than a year old. I paid over $2000 on sale for a couch sold at $4000. A little over a year, the couch began to sag at the ends and concave in. We do even use it heavily. A little over 2 years, the `leather` began to fake. It has now been 3 years and the couch looks like a very cheap quality couch of a decade with flakes everywhere and the bottom wood falling to the ground. Again, We probably sit on this couch 6-8 hours a week.

Ridiculous Policy - Will Never Return

Last Saturday we purchased a wooden étagère and after paying for it in the store, we were told to pick it up in the back as there were two available. I had asked our salesman if it could be returned if we found it wasn’t suitable and he said yes, but within two days. The two étagères were nowhere to be found, so they brought in the floor model and offered it to us. It had several scratches, so we asked them to order us another. They said it would be 2 to 3 business days and to phone them. I called on Wednesday, it was not available, and was told to call back again on Saturday. That was yesterday. I called and they said it was available so my husband picked it up this morning. He brought it home and as soon as we opened it up we saw scratches on several pieces and many places where the stain had chipped off. Obviously not an acceptable piece of furniture. We didn’t waste time. My husband returned it immediately, only a couple of hours after bringing it home. He was told there would be a 35% restocking fee. (This of course was never mentioned to me by our salesman.) 35%!! More than one third the cost of the item! He told them how ridiculous this was because the furniture was damaged. Were they going to wrap it up again and sell it to another unsuspecting customer? How many times over can they get away with that? I can maybe understand some restocking fee if you decide when you get it home that you just don’t like it after all. It’s undoubtedly time-consuming to have to repack it. But asking for 35% when the goods are damaged to begin with? To their credit, some sales person was smart enough to realize how insane this was and told him they would only charge 10%. Rather than put up a fight, my husband agreed and left, but you can be sure we will never shop at Brault et Martineau again.

This company robs its consumers. They sell overpriced, poor quality furniture and do not hold true to their warranty policy. After my home flooded , my insurance company purchased my family a sectional sofa from B&M. It has been a nightmare since. The 2000$ sofa collapsed within 6 months. After a technician came to verify that it was a manufacturing defect we were given a delivery date for a replacement. the (1st) day of delivery - 2 delivery men who spoke neither French or English showed up to do the delivery. Communicating was near impossible and when we asked why, the workers explained their poor language skills were the cause of being subcontracted and not actually workers from b&m. While the delivery men were taking our old broken sofa out of the house they took it as is without taking it apart and forced the sofa through a doorway until the sofa cushions ripped. We took photos of the damage and the order reprint and had the delivery men write that they ripped the sofa and sign their signature on the delivery form just incase. Well, when they brought the new sofa inside and were unwrapping it , we discovered it was damaged too. Right out of the package! The delivery men called the company and told them the situation . They offered us a 80$ rebate on the 2000$ sofa ! Naturally we refused the new damaged couch. So We were given our old broken couch back and the delivery men put the new damaged sofa back in the truck and left. After numerous phone calls with different representatives we were given another delivery date . The 2nd experience even more horrible than the first. The delivery men showed up and demanded to see the old sofa . Investigated every inch of the sofa before finding the rip the previous delivery men had made and then told us- the exchange was being refused. We asked them to stay 10 minutes while we call customer service- they told us no! They said that they were paid by how much deliveries they made and not by hour and then they left. Just like that. I called b&m immediately after demanding a explanation only to be told that there was no customer service representative who could handle my file during the weekend and I would have to speak to the original representative who authorized the delivery. So, a 1inch rip on the back of in my couch that their delivery men made is apparently a bigger problem than the broken frame on the sofa. It's been almost a year and so far there's been 3 sofas- 2 lost work days waiting for delivery- 4 delivery men- 3 delivery days , a technician and a handful of worthless aggravating phone calls. Allstate insurance company sent us to b&m and paid the bill. Well, the insurance adjuster from Allstate is now extremely dissatisfied about the service we have received and is becoming involved in the situation as well as the Quebec office de la consommateurs. I don't recommend anybody do business with this company and I'll be sure to make my opinion and my personal experience known.

Received a defective washing machine

We bought a brand new Samsung front load washer and dryer from Brault & Marneau. They were delivered and we hooked them up and found that the washing machine was not working. When the spin cycle was on, the machine would shake and then stop spinning. We called Brault & Martineau and immediately asked for a replacement machine and a refund. Brault & Martineau arranged for a Samsung technician to come and inspect it. The Samsung technician found that our brand new, never been used washing machine had a broken spin tub. To us it seemed logical that Brault & Martineau would take away this broken washing machine and bring us a new working one. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. Both Brault & Martineau and Samsung refused to replace the washing machine and Brault & Martineau refused to give us a refund. We tried everything – calling both Brault & Martineau and Samsung every day, multiple visits to Brault & Martineau. The only thing they would agree to is to repair it. A repair on a brand new machine that we have never even used! Brault & Martineau has the most ridiculous idea of customer service. They did not even care that we have made thousands of dollars of purchases over the past 12 years – appliances, couches, dining room set, bedroom set. Well congratulations Brault & Martineau, you have succeeded in losing two good customers. We will never shop at your store again.

I ordered a sectional and thry said 8 weeks special order and called to say they expected and woukld call for a delivery date two weeks later csllef to say it would anotjer 4 weeks we finally get it they leave in the living room in three pieces we have to put it together anf he has a back issue and he is sure this is not what we orderrd but it is a special order we have no recourse.
